[GUIDE] FULL EXPANDED JB VIEW ON GALAXY Y :)

Requirements:
Apk tool or any Tool used in compiling and decompiling :)
SystemUI.apk
Brain
Desktop or Laptop ( NOTE: Do not use Windows 95 )  :)
Girlfriend(Optional)

But before the guide I would like to thank evanlocked@xda for the guide :)Here are the steps:
1. Decompile your SystemUI.apk
2.Go to StatusBarService.smali and find these line:  (Ctrl+F na po ha?)

 2.pag nahanap nyo na yan. delete nyo yung nasa baba nya na ganito

iget-object v1, p0, Lcom/android/systemui/statusbar/StatusBarService;->mStatusBarView:Lcom/android/systemui/statusbar/StatusBarView;
invoke-virtual {v1}, Lcom/android/systemui/statusbar/StatusBarView;->getHeight()I
move-result v1
sub-int/2addr v0, v1


(pasensya sa alignment hehehe basta hanapin nyo nalang ung codes na ganyan)

3. Hanapin nyo ulit to:

 sa taas nya makikita nyo ito:

const/16 v3, 0x7de

 palitan ung codes na yan ng:

const/16 v3, 0x7d3


4. Hanapin ulit ung codes na ito:

PAKIBASA MUNA:

- Backup nyo muna ung stock keypad nyo, AxT9IME.apk bago nyo ito i-flash para sure
- Gagana to sa lahat ng stock based ROM (odex, or deodexed)
- Hindi po ito gagana sa CM7 based ROM dahil nangangailangan ito ng TouchWiz framework o twframework-res.apk
- Happy Flashing!

- DL mo lang ang zip na ito

- install zip from sd card

- locate mo ung zip , select yes

Xcarlet modded lockscreens Tutorial

BEWARE! this step can cause BOOTLOOP if not followed correctly!


PLEASE DO NANDROID BACK UP before doing this. Please...


READ FIRST..

- Make sure that your SGY is already ROOTED before executing this step by step tutorial.

- I am not responsible to any damage that you may inflict to your SGY while following this tutorial. ( I will not post this if it's not working at the first place )


NEEDED APPS: Download it on Google Playstore or search for it on Google.com

--Ninjamorph ( works like Deco-Reco :p )

--ROOT EXPLORER ( for exploring root? :p )

--Dropbox ( optional )

Step 1
 Choose your desired lock screen mod at this link
scroll down until you reach "Costumized Animated lockscreen" section and download your desired mod.

Step 2
Open Ninjamorph, select "New project"
then navigate to System/Framework/Frameworkres.apk

"Extracting" wait till extraction is done and then exit ninjamorph.

Step 3
Open root explorer then go to "sdcard"

navigate to where your downloaded files go..

Example: Traflock.zip

when sighted, press and hold the file to open pop-up options.

on pop-up, select extract all.
after the extracting, another pop up will appear and please select "go to extract folder"

Inside the folder, Copy all the .PNG files and paste it to

"Androidthemes / Workspace / Frameworkresapk / Res / Drawable ldpi"

Copy paste done.? good! now exit Root explorer.

Step 4
go back to Ninjamorph, select finish project, select Frameworkresapk.
wait for the pop up question.. below is the answer..

Yes / No / Yes

or

Yes / No / No

the last pop up is "ALL DONE" that means you have to REBOOT your phone.


Step 5
after reboot is done. Congratz.. you are now a Ninja :)and I'm your hokage.. hue hue hue :p

[Share] [Guide] Unable to connect Phone (SGY) to PC via USB

I'm sharing this because I experienced Usb connection difficulties just a while ago. and this method works :)

Turn the phone off, Then press the POWER button for 8 seconds, While (or just after the 8 secs) pressing it press the HOME button and keep it pressed for 15 seconds, when the 15 secs are up release the POWER button but keep pressing the HOME button (up to 3 seconds) and wait.

Hope it works :)

Trick #1 - UI Chooser(the systemui saga)

Need:
Common Sense :)
RootExplorer

Para pag nagchoose kayu ng UI like tiled/classic ung "MODDED" nyu ang makikita:

1. extract UIChooser.apk  (open rootex>system>app *here*)

2. Go to your modded SystemUI.apk then rename it to classic.apk/tiled.apk (kung alin sa dalawa ang minod nyung apk)

3. Copy the renamed classic.apk/tiled.apk

4. Paste it to sdcard>UIChooser>assets *here* 5.  zip the UIChooser folder (Longpres>zip this folder)

6. Go to zip folder .. ang makikita nyu UIChoooser.zip rename it to UIChooser.apk

7. Copy UIChooser.apk then paste to system>app *here* yes to overwrite ..

8. then set permission to rw-r-r like this :

(yung may check alng ang chekan xD)

9.then reboot .. Yan pag magpapalit ka na ng UI ung MODDED na ang makikita mo .. ^_^

Reverse tethering for your galaxy mini

eto po yung link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1371345 anjan na rin yung instructions kung pano gawin, credited to xda-developers. download nyo yung reverse tethering 2.30 para magamit nyo yung google play. sa 2.29 ayaw gumana ng google play. tried and tested na po to.

[How to]: ROOT your GALAXY MINI

Prerequisites:
  • Samsung Galaxy Mini
  • Data cable
  • drivers installed to PC
  • usable brain
  • PC/Mobile Literate
  • Rooting is not Equal to Updating/Upgrading




How to root (Froyo)
Use attached SuperOneClickv1.7-ShortFuse.zip (z4 root and universal androot wiil not work) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=803682

Rooting pre-requisite:
Install Samsung Kies (para sa drivers) http://www.samsung.com/ph/support/mo...OFTWARE.MANUAL

Steps:
1. Connect phone to pc via usb
2. On phone: Go to Settings > Manage Applications > Development > USB debugging (dapat naka enable)
3. Open SuperOneClick.exe
4. Click "Root". Wait for rooting process to be finished
5. Reboot phone

How to root (Gingerbread)
1. Download the file upd_1.zip (attached) and save it on the root of your SD card (DO NOT unzip it)
2. Go into recovery mode. Press and hold Home + Power buttons. Release buttons when you see the Samsung logo
3. Once you are in recovery mode you will get lot of options on screen. In recovery mode touchscreen does not work, so use the volume up/down buttons to toggle through options. To confirm options press the middle button
4. Go to the second option i.e apply update from SD card
5. Upon selecting the second option you will need to select the file upd_1.zip. Press the middle button to apply changes
6. It takes 2-3 seconds to install the update
7. Once the above step is complete, select the reboot option

How to root ur phone via CWM...(GINGERBREAD Only)


[B]Instructions:

Step 1. Download the zip file from this post. (root-signed-chemicalrage.zip)

Step 2. Copy the file in your SD-card(sdcard/) Not in a folder/directory

Step 3. Power down your phone.

Step 4. Enter recovery mode by holding Home+Power buttons for atleast 5 seconds at the same time.

Step 5. Use the volume key's to scroll through the menu. Select "Apply update from sd-card". Use the home button to apply function.

Step 6. Use 'Select zip from sd card' to find root-signed-chemicalrage.zip on your SD-card.

Step 7. When it asks you if you want to apply the update, select yes. Use the home button to confirm.

Step 8. Wait for it to finish, then reboot. Congratulations, Your phone is now rooted.

[Custom ROMS] for Galaxy Mini

ANG PAGPILI PO NG CUSTOM ROM, DEPENDE PO YAN SA TRIP NIYO, KUNG MAHILIG NA KAYO SA THEMES, SA GAMES , SA MUSIC, etc.
Before Proceeding, make sure you have CWM Recovery, if not yet, there is a Docs in this group regarding on How to Flash CWM

How to Flash Roms via CWM: CWM Recovery > Wipe data/reset, Wipe Cache partition > install from .zip file > choose from .zip > ROMROMROM.zip > no no no no "YES" no no > wait for it to finish > reboot phone
